Summer Edition

INTERNATIONAL GROUP SHOW

PRATO-TUSCANY

5.27 July 2019

Vernissage 5 July 9.30 pm

World Basement Gallery is an unconventional exhibition space located in the University district of Milan. The refurbishment of a former former laundry in the Fusina condominium, this underground gallery is the reference point for contemporary art in the neighborhood. An alternative space that intends to recall what Piero Manzoni and Enrico Castellani established as early as in the late 50s with Azimut, the art gallery that they opened in the basement of a furniture store. Azimut was one of the great activators of Italian and European visual and conceptual culture of the time.

World Basement Gallery aims to be the 2.0 update version for all the art protagonists of the third millennium.
