Contemporary smARTbox is a show concept based on the selection and promotion of contemporary artworks by established and emerging artists: all selected authors will exhibit their works at our gallery space, according to the exhibition program being issued seasonally.
A series of group exhibitions curated in the smallest detail by art professionals and enhanced by a critical presentation and a catalog, thanks to which the selected artists will be able to present their most interesting proposals to the contemporary art audience and collectors in Milano.
Each group exhibition will collect up to 10 artists and will be a theme-free show. The space allocated to each artist will measure H 200 x W 100 cm including frames. The artist is free to choose whether to exhibit only one work or a composition. In the event of a composition, mentioned maximum permitted measurements and the exhibition layout proposed by the management staff must nevertheless be accepted and respected. Frames with glass are not allowed.
Contemporary smARTbox will not only be a management aimed at promoting artists and their art but will also result in a prize. The management will in fact select for each seasonal exhibition cycle such one artist who has stood out because of originality and expressive research: this author will be given the opportunity to organize a free and full personal exhibition including: setting up and dismantling, catalog, flyers and playbills, press release and communication over to suitable online magazines. The artist will be in charge of the works’ delivery costs and any relevant insurance.
All artists of any nationality working in any media in contemporary art are eligible. All applicants must be of age (≥18 years old). All expressive techniques are allowed.

The document must be unique for all information and image, in PDF format and named with SURNAME AND NAME (Other formats will be NOT taken into consideration)
The e-mail must contain the string CANDIDATURA WBG 2019/2020 in the subject field.
Only in the case of selection a contribution of € 90,00 is being required to partially cover organizational and curatorial expenses.
An email will be sent to the selected artists informing about their successful application and including all the details to complete the organizational process.
